Michael A. Robinson is a retired senior corporate finance executive.  He remains an active corporate finance consultant to various public and private companies and also serves as a trustee for a private family estate.

Mr. Robinson was formerly Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer of Tyco International Ltd.  In his role at Tyco, he led a team of finance professionals in New York, Florida, Luxembourg, Ireland and Singapore.  Mr. Robinson managed a global debt portfolio in excess of $25 billion and was directly responsible for the issuance of over $20 billion of various debt securities.  Additionally, he was responsible for the company’s insurance and risk management, pension plan investments, foreign exchange and commodity exposure management programs.  Mr. Robinson was also an active and key participant in the numerous corporate acquisitions completed by Tyco.

Previously, Mr. Robinson was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Department at Merrill Lynch & Co. focusing on equity and debt issuance for healthcare companies and multinational conglomerates.  He also held various positions in finance at AT&T, Colgate-Palmolive Company and Bankers Trust Company.  

Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Business and Industry at Florida A & M University, summa cum laude, and a Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University.
